New Feature: Apple to Shrink Connector for iPhone 5

Just like the weather, Apple also changes new features on its gadgets very often. Say for example right now, reports say that Apple Inc’s new iPhone 5 will drop the wide dock connector used in the company’s gadgets. How cool is that? They said that this is for the best part of a decade in favor of a smaller one, and this is considered to be a change that is intended likely to annoy the Apple faithful but which could be a boon for accessory makers.

Because of this newest feature of iPhone 5, I’m sure many accessory makers will benefit from it. The iPhone 5 is considered to be the next generation iPhone of Apple. It is widely expected to go on sale around October, but right now, with three months on the clock before it comes out, many are already excited to get one.

The iPhone 5 is said to have a 19-pin connector port at the bottom instead of the proprietary 30-pin port. This smaller version of the port is intended to make room for the earphone moving to the bottom, they said. What do you think of that? Isn’t it cool enough for you to get excited about? This could also mean that the new phone would not connect with the myriad of accessories such as the speakers and power charges that usually form part of the ecosystem around iPods, iPads and iPhones, without an adaptor. This is going to be a great help for the users since this can make their life easier and a lot better with their new gadgets.
