As part of the promotion and way of spreading the words about the highly anticipated World welterweight championship, Mayweather vs. Ortiz on September 17 this year, the award winning series HBO 24/7 return on TV to give boxing fans like me an in-depth story of the pre-fight happenings of the boxing event. The said sports documentary series featuring the said fight will be airing its first episode beginning August 27 and will be followed by the remaining 3 episodes on September 3, 10 and 16 respectively.
You might be aware of the upcoming boxing event, Star Power: Mayweather vs. Ortiz on September 17, 2011 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas (as I have mentioned on my Kentips.com’ post). This event falls during the Mexican Independence weekend and they will celebrate the said commemorative event with a big blast of world class boxing.
Do you know that at stake on this bout is the current WBC Welterweight title of the American-Mexican Victor Ortiz?
The list below shows the different methods of watching it for a fee and free.
Pay Per View. Of course this is the best option as you will surely have a high quality video feed of the fight without the worries of not watching it. HBO in the US is the authorized channel that sells the PPV while Primetime UK is for UK not Sky. In other countries, just ask your local cable provider for rates and availability. This option is highly recommended by Kentips.com.
Free Live Streaming. Some blogs do provide a free way to watch fights like this through live streaming and they usually put it on video stream providers like UStream, Justin, LiveStream, SOPCAST, etc. The problem with this option is how you will find it. Later, in my post as found on the home page of the site , I will try to share you places on the web and SOPCAST channels where you can conveniently watch Mayweather vs. Ortiz without the trouble of searching and roaming around the web.
Live Boxing Sites. Some sites like THIS SITE, offers a live boxing for a small fee for a month of subscription. Check it out if you want to watch live boxing. I think they have different prize package depending on your desired coverage or event to watch.

Update: Donaire vs Narvaez undercard fight and official weigh-in updated below.
I believe that Nonito “The Flash” Donaire can follow the footstep of the popular Filipino boxer Manny “PACMAN” Pacquiao and I’ve heard from the news that Nonito Donaire announced his possible upcoming fight against the undefeated boxer from Argentina named Omar Andres Narvaez on October 22, 2011. He said this in an interview with ABS-CBN, a local news/entertainment network in the Philippines when he visited the country to finalize his November 2011 church wedding with wife Rachel Donaire.
The last time that I saw Donaire fight was the boxing event with Fernando Montiel where he demolished the latter with a tremendous and impressive result.
In the interview with Dyan Castillejo of ABS-CBN, he said that he is excited already of the Donaire vs. Narvaez fight and believes that Narvez fight will be a tough game for him but he likes the challenge of giving 1 lost to undefeated fighter like Narvaez.
The 36-year old Omar Andres Narvaez got 35 wins with 19 KOs, zero lost and 2 draws and currently the WBO Junior Bantamweight champion. What is at stake on this boxing event is the WBC and WBO bantamweight titles. For the venue, there’s no specific details about this yet.
This post will be updated for additional details of this Nonito Donaire vs. Omar Andres Narvaez fight on October 22, 2011.
The following shows the video feed of the official weigh-in of Nonito Donaire and Omar Narvaez at the Peyton Room of the Affinia Hotel. In this episode, 116.4lbs is the official weight of the Filipino boxer which is lower than expected. Check the video for the rest of the details of this event.
Watch the fight undercard for the Donaire-Narvaez match below.
Before the big boxing events, Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 and Mayweather vs. Ortiz this 3rd and 4th quarter of 2011, one of the fight that no one should miss is the boxing event that features two great junior welterweight fighters of the world namely Zab “Super” Judah and Amir “King” Khan which are scheduled to have their ring meet up on July 23, 2011. These two are known for their great active style inside the ring so we will expect an action-packed boxing event on Saturday. This boxing event will be televised by HBO Sports on the said date.
